12K Carbon Fiber Fabric – 4HS Weave is a high-performance woven reinforcement material manufactured from 12,000-filament (12K) carbon fiber tows, arranged in a 4 Harness Satin (4HS) weave pattern.
The 4HS satin weave provides an excellent combination of high structural strength, reduced fiber crimp, improved resin flow, and better drapability compared to plain weave fabrics. This makes it ideal for curved composite parts, thick structural laminates, marine reinforcement structures, industrial composite panels, wind energy components, and composite tooling applications.
Compared to 12K plain weave, 12K 4HS fabric conforms better to complex molds, reducing bridging and improving laminate consistency.
